1. Fill out our Client Questionnaire and Color Survey

By filling out our Client Questionnaire and Color Survey it ensures our design team will provide you with a new room design that suites your lifestyle and truly reflects your own personal style. Please be as thorough as possible with your answers, so that we may implement and execute the concept with every attention to detail and the budget at hand.

2. Measure your room and create drawings

How to Measure Your Room

Grab someone to help you measure the layout of the room as though you are looking down on it from a bird’s eye view and record all information on a piece of paper or download the graph paper provided …(please see steps on How to Measure Your Room. Please be sure to measure each wall showing all doors and doorways, window locations, electrical outlets, HVAC vents including walls and floors, radiators and fireplaces, etc…This information is very important and will help us to determine the best placement of furniture for the room, so please be as accurate as possible.

3. Photograph all 4 walls

How to Photograph Your Room

Photograph all 4 walls of the room, ensuring you capture the entire wall, side to side and ceiling to floor.

4. Identify and take Photos of existing pieces that you wish to keep and incorporate into the design

How to Measure Your Furniture

Take photos and measurement of your existing items or furniture that you wish to keep and incorporated into you design. Please include the item’s width, height, and depth…(please see example of how to photograph and measure your existing pieces.

5. Gather Inspirational Images

Include images or photos of rooms or items that have inspired you that you have found in magazines or on-line that you feel best illustrates the way you would like your space to look and feel. Explain what you like and don’t like about each image (i.e. paint color, wall coverings, fabrics, materials, flooring, or overall feel of the room, etc…)

6. Mail In your Materials

Once you have completed all you preliminary design tasks you need to scan all of your drawings and images into your computer and email the information to us.
